The replacement from Online Scuba works perfectly with a new USB cable and I was able to charge and download my photos. They shipped the part quickly as it came as advertised.
My old SeaLife USB Charging Adapter wouldn't charge my camera. I bought the camera used (100 pics taken). The adapter was broken but continued to work after I glued the broken part. On this trip though after the first charge it no longer worked. I went to the dive shop and borrowed one of their Sealife adapters. There were 3-4 other broken ones on the bench. I tried to use their loaner but it didn't work so I rented one of their cameras. My USB cord was the problem I found out later. Their adapter also didn't work because of the cord. I tell all of this to say that Sealife really needs to improve their adapters because they obviously break very easily. The one I just got has a tight connection so I have to be careful plugging it in and especially removing it. |
