In full disclosure, I have only used this compass on three dives. As such, I hesitate to provide a 5-star review because I cannot attest to durability. However, in my limited use of this compass, I am quite pleased. The card is relatively easy to read (I think all compasses are challenging to read underwater), it fits really well in my small hands, and the retractor works like a charm. The glow is bright when fully charged, making it nice for darker dives as well. At first blush, I am so pleased with this compass that I am trying to convince my husband to get one. He’s contemplating it, as he is also impressed. Although I cannot say how long it will last, I am happy with my purchase at this point. Plus, I really like OnlineScuba.com; I’m happy to support small businesses. So, it is a win-win for me thus far. |
