Bought for carrying kayak through high desert to fast water. Walking soles are thick enough for the terrain proved reasonably comfortable over an hour plus carrying boats in & out. No technical terrain test, but friction and support are both probably lacking. Also the zipper didnt like the super sandy water of spring runoff and was very hard to operate. Overall these boots seem good after one long for an old guy fast water day -IF- someone manufactured a wetsuit boot with "sticky" climbing rubber soles for kayaking and technical canyoneering I'd buy them, AND sell them! |
