I needed basic dive boots for the Bahamas when I was gonna be snorkling, and these boots were PERFECT. They're not so good with fins due to the back of the heel, but I used them alone without fins.
(Since they are low top boots, only use them for WARM WATER, or relatively warm, don't expect to go diving in 40 degree water and feel warm in these).
For a long time I was wondering what my size in dive boot would be, and I realized that every manufacturer is different.
Mares are one full size smaller
I am size 9 in sneaker fit, and I thought 9 would be perfect but actually, a size 8 fit perfectly ! So go down a size, ESPECIALLY if you have a narrow foot. You want a snug fit.
The sole of the boot can be a bother if you plan on stepping on sharp objects because you'll feel the edges.
VERY light on your feet, and honestly, I'd recommend them to ANYONE
