I usually have spare parts for most of my equipment.
This is pretty important when you're off the beaten trail.
The Spring Strap Replacement hardware is a must have piece of equipment.
It's a very obscure spot on the spring attach point - but - they can over time rust and break over time - at which point you need one of these.
So while you might have Jet fins and heel springs - which are pretty indestructible - the attach point hardware can fail... So - don't be without one!

These are the perfect solution for the diver looking to retrofit or refurbish their spring straps. No longer restricted to the pin style (PITA); you can remove the pins easily and rebore the clips then easily install these bolts to make your spring straps easily removable (if you need to do so). I wanted to replace the tubular webbing on mine because it was ratty looking but with the old fashioned pins it seemed I was stuck. Then came the idea to remove the pins and redrill the small holes and redo with these. Voila, my spring straps look brand new! |
