Very good build quality, feels heavy not cheap. The beam is very bright, easy to use in the water. I Iike that you don't have to remove the battery to charge it, instead just plug it in. The only thing to note is the beam is wide not a spot so under water you have to be close to what you are illuminating. Would be nice it the beam was adjustable. Otherwise it worked great. highly recommend. |

These lights are well designed. Unscrew the rear cap in order to charge the light and you will feel the tight tolerances to which this light is made. One will find double heavy duty O ring seals. The brightness adjustment controlled by a magnetic switch is necessary as closeup this light would be blindly bright. Long battery life at 2.5 hours at max power and a weeks worth of diving at lower powers. I bought 5 of these for Christmas gifts for my dive team after using my own for both a primary and backup. Beam width is not adjustable and therefore best suited for clearer water. Overall a high quality light for a very reasonable price. |
