on 4/21/2024 		I am interested in buying Red Trident Ribbed Flex Vinyl Hose Protectors and I have read in different reviews like from Amazon that they are not actually red but more of a safety orange color. Before we waste anyone's time can you please render your opinion of your "red" hose protectors

on 4/22/2024 		Hello, Thank you for the question. I do not have one on hand to look at but I did take a look at the catalog. I can see what the reviews are saying. For the stiff or rigid hose covers, the red is a true fire engine red where as this flex one is a lighter red. I think it might be a material issue that is making it appear less saturated. It is red but there is a possibility it could become lighter with sun exposure. It does still appear red from my point view but like a hard candy.
